In our post post-modern society, we struggle to rap our mind around the concepts of grace (χαρις) and mercy (ελεος). We are not tuned in to truly grasp these concepts. We demand justice; but more so, we crave revenge. Showing compassion, giving someone a second change just does not sit well with us. Our response to grace is Ricinus Communis.
